Computerworld Bulgaria is the most trusted source for the critical information needs of senior IT management at medium-size to large companies, owners and managers of the IT companies, IT directors from the public and the private sector, IT professionals, consultants. Computerworld publishes business and technology news, trends, product reviews, analyses, and international information. The main sections are Hardware, Software, Communications, Enterprise Solutions, IT Business, Recruitment Guide, Buyers Guide. Since the beginning of 2005 we have a growing focus on telecommunication developments and on IT human resource management. For a fifth year in a row Computerworld BG continues its major initiative - “IT Project of the Year Awards”, which main goal is to present and highlight the most successful and considerable IT solutions, implemented in Bulgarian enterprises and in the public sector during the year. The Computerworld annual Awards Winners are selected in three categories – SMB, big corporate IT customers, and public organizations. Computerworld Bulgaria publishes specialized supplements in different technological segments, including Office Equipment and Supplies, Mobile Business, Servers and Storage Systems. A special supplement is focused on the ICT specialists salaries and the trends on the IT recruitment market in Bulgaria.
Readers: The latest research shows that 33% of the readers are senior managers (CEOs, CFOs, Presidents, VPs, Owners, General Managers etc.), 48% are IT technical specialists and engineers, 5% are lawyers or professors, and another 2% are system administrators. Considering their scope of activities, the readers of Computerworld are from IT companies (16.6%), telecom and Internet services (9.3%), Public administration (6.5%), banks, financial and consulting services (6.2%), wholesale (6.1%), followed by education (5.8%), construction (4.9%), medical services and R&D (3.5%) and transport (2.2%). 63% of the readers have university degree, as 38.6 per cent of them are Master of Sciences, and 10 per cent are still students in technical universities. 91% of the readers are using Internet on a daily basis, as 55% of them have Internet access from LAN/MAN network, 30.2% - from ADSL, 15% - from cable modem, and another 11% are using public WiFi connections. 8.5% of the respondents have mobile Internet access from GPRS/UMTS/HSDPA networks, and 1% prefer WiMAX based Internet services. 56% of Computerworld audience have a MP3 player, 53% - DVD player, 53% - laptop, 17.5% - PDA/Smartphone, and 65 – digital camera.
